How long can these be stored in a treat jar, refrigerator and freezer? My granddaughter wants to make them for a holiday craft show and wants to put all the information on a card. She is 6 and a good baker so we thought this would be a good for her to try for the show.
I made home made dog treats, recipe is pretty same like yours .Dogs love them and they are so easy to make.
I never knew I could make these ! Beth sent me
Yes! I used to make my dog homemade treats. I still have the doggie treats cookbook somewhere. PS: Beth sent me, please enter me into your cookbook giveaway…

.i always cook for my dogs there spoiled
I have made this recipe for sooooo long now ever since I saw this video and my dog molly loves christmas time because thats the time when I spoil her with your treats. THANKS!
OH! Also, very important to note, I chose this recipe because it had no sugar or salt in it! Dogs should never be fed sugar or salt! It isn’t good for them and dogs don’t have as many taste buds as we do anyway, they decide what is delicious by smell, not taste!
I cook for my dog all the time. Ever since I learned the truth behind dog food. I make him chicken with rice, pulled pork and mixed veggies (except carrots, he hates carrots), beef stew (no onions garlic or peppers though) he loves white rice and tilapia! I’m gonna make these for him and for the homeless dogs at the local shelter for Christmas. thanks for the recipe.
i used chicken broth as the liquid and 1/3 C of applesauce (unsweetened) instead of the peanut butter. WHAT A DISASTER! did you even try the substitutes like you suggest? the stuff wouldn’t become dough. i had to add more flour and more flour and more oats. i finally gave up and made drop cookies which are in the oven. one dog will eat anything and one is really picky. but won’t be trying any more of your recipes any time soon.
im sooo trying this
So dark in colour?!
Also, being almost Halloween, I’m using “spooky” cookie cutters for Tatty!
Hey how come your dough is so dark
I make cookies for my doggie… Tatijana… Tatty, for short; Tatts, for even shorter. Exactly the ingredients you’ve used in your recipe, you’re a girl after my own heart. I don’t know aboutvpeople objecting to peanut butter. Tatty loves cookies I make for her. In fact I’m just resting the cookie-dough. Ten pm. London time. Watching Obama stuff on u.tube and your video. Good stuff, all round. Thanks for sharing. ps: I cook other food for Tatty too. I’m gonna subscribe to you stream
Mine are baking Dx for my first try they look retardly shaped. But, hopefully Annabel like the x
Milk? Dogs can’t eat dairy it messes with their stomachs wtf

No I ever made dog food for my dog
If i substitute the peanut butter with all bananas or all carrots, what would be the shelf life? I have made peanut butter cookies for my dog, and in the recipe it was mentioned it can last for 2 weeks in room temperature. Please advice. Thanks.
I cook for my dogs every meal! They are the best fed boys on the block! My old boy and I just split a fresh orange. He takes care of my safety, I take care of him. Great treat, I stopped buying dog food when it killed my friend Mastiff. Commercial dog food is horrific.
I’m making these for my Oreo Mudpie this week! He freakin’ loves peanut butter.
