I bought it all up so I could demand certain favors from you.

It have noticed this as well, but only with the non-beef varieties. I was told that it was a quality control issues. And they would not sell any of their products until they have any problems figured out. I got an e-mail a while ago about dogs getting sick from certain varieties of Nutro. They supposedly switched their formulas to include cheaper filler products. I have since stopped using it, although I used to love it! I now use Solid Gold and mix it with Purina ONE (lamb and rice). I cant afford solid gold alone with my 4 dogs, plus its so rich my female gains too much weight on it. ONE is not a horrible food, and it easy to find.

No i don’t use Nutro natural choice.
i use Nutro ultra.
there are 3 of the brands witch are-
Nutro Max,Nutro Natural Choice and Nutro Ultra
and it goes in that order Nutro Max being the less healthy
with filler and corn still in the food.
and Nutro Natural Choice being second,with less corn and fillers
and last Nutro Ultra a holistic Dog food with no corn or fillers at all.
it is up to you but id change
to Nutro Ultra just cause there’s no corn,fillers or any unwanted things.
I rate the Nutro brand to be a medium dog food meaning 4 star.

~ It is a horrible food and not worth the money or time to feed it to a dog. I would start looking into quality dog foods. Nutro has been having a lot of problems, which is not new to them. People report their dogs are getting very sick of some of the Nutro foods.

I know there have been some issues with pet stores scheming on the 1 free bag after so many purchase thing (no bags were actually being purchased and they were sending in made up slips to get the free bags in store) and you now have to send in your own upcs and reciepts. I’m wondering if maybe your store is being audited for this??? We use the sensitive stomach formula (and have for years with no issues with our choco lab– in fact it is only if we change it up that he has issues) and haven’t had a problem getting it just as of last purchase have to do our own rebates.

We bought two 35 pound bags of it last time we ordered. We buy it at Whole Foods, and it is hard to get sometimes. We try to order in advance before we run out.

I worked at petsupermarket and Nutro is a good food alot of times if you have your dog on a low rate food with no fillers and all kinds of by products and things like benaful or puppy chow or kibbls and bits if you do a suddin change and do not slowly change foods they will get really sick even more so when you switch to a richer better food. its like if all we eat are organic foods no meat no nothan like that. than all of a suddin all week long we deside to eat bk or md we are going to have masive diharia and not feel to well the same thing for a dog. you have to mix there old food with there new food for about a week if you feed your dog cups a day do one cup old food one cup new food than they wont get sick 9 times out of 10 people dont do that because they dont know to and when there dogs get sick they blame it on the “bad dog food”
