www.HomemadeDogFood.com Here is a very easy, cooked homemade dog food recipe that I came up with. It’s really healthy for your dog. My dog Stinky (the one at the end of the video) loves it! – Ed

and 5 hours later . . . you have dog food.
so he really feeds them egg shells?
I gave my dogs a recipe just like this one and they became lethargic and had tummy upsets left right and centre and we had to keep emptying their anal glands, we eliminated the rice and replaced with sweet potato, pumpkin, butternut squash and bang! shiny coats, no tummy upsets! they are full of energy and much happier.
bc it’s the source of calcium they need. otherwise, it’d be deficient in that mineral.
The major problem I see with your recipe is: 1. Hamburger meat has too much fat in it. 7% fat would be ideal. 2. Dogs have NO nutritional requirements for carbohydrates, as in the rice you suggest, or any other grains. Next to water, dogs need protein, protein, protein from animals.
Most holistic vets will tell you the best diet for a dog is to mimic their what dogs would eat in the wild, and that is a raw diet of meat.
he didn’t take the shell off the eggz omg
Rice isnt all that good for dogs…brown is at least better than white.
People who cooks for their dogs thinks that dogs are humans lol let them eat raw so they put those sharp teeth to use….Jesus Christ.
How long does it last in the freezer? Thanks for this video!
Fancy stuff no need to cook I believe – I was like OMG why is he baking it! Cooking the rice twice it is hardly anything but junk food !You can follow this recipe but dont bake it
very thorough, well done
No need to cook the meat, do some research!
Raw is the best!!!!! Cook is the worst!!!!
you should try a raw all meat and organ diet for your dog its much better for them and dogs don’t need supplements if you feed raw meat and organs
Oh he looves that stuff huh..I think I will make a loaf or so for my German Shepard..it’s her 1st Birthday in a few days
Cooked food takes out ALL of the MOST important nutrients that canines require on a daily basis for nutrition. Dogs and humans have digestive systems that ARE NOT designed and made the exact same. This means that dogs should only be fed raw only. The biology and the nutritional requirements of a dog differs completely to that of a human being. Because, they DO NOT need NOR require vegetables and fruits for part of their daily dietary nutritional needs.
While you are obviously correct that dogs would have no means of cooking anything on their own (duh?), Its also been proven that dogs have spent enough time being bred next to humans that their biology and nutrient requirements have changed to be more similar to ours. Not that their is anything wrong with giving them raw food, but it is difficult, or expensive, to get them the proper nutrients without including something that has to be cooked. I try and do both.
awww he loves it!!!
egg shells are a great source of calcium,
yea egg shells are a good source of calcium
Actually the problem with this is that the meat and eggs have no form of protection against organism and so on that the cooking takes care of. If you were going to use this raw, there are meat products that have been pasteurized for that purpose and contain far less problems. As for the eggs, there are egg substitutes available. So while you are correct in leaning to raw, the issues with parasites and bacteria are whats at hand.
well i just cook my meats and veggies for my dogs in either a crock pot or pressure cooker. for about 8 to 10 hours.
arent grains like highly allergenic to dogs? i belive if you want to feed starchy carbs it shouldnt be grains more like potatoes or sweet potatoes.
