Gah! Natural dog food??
- admin in category: Dog food products
Everyone on here is obsessed with natural dog food.
I can not feed a dog natural dog food for two reasons:
1. There are no stores that sell it around here (trust me-I asked)
and
2. It’s ridiculously expenseive, expecially if I ordered it online.
So are you all saying, that I should not get a dog, not rescue a life, jsut because I cannot feed it “natural” dog food?
sorry, I just have people telling me that the dog will have loads of health problems and not be happy.

No one is telling you you’re a horrible owner for not going with an all natural diet.
Yes, they can be healthier for your dog, but most people can’t afford it. People are just giving their opinions.
I would LOVE to go all natural with my guys, but I have 7 dogs, so an all natural diet is completely out of the question until I’ve got my masters degree.
Go ahead and rescue.

It is not necessary at all to feed natural dog food, people who think otherwise are deluded. You can feed a wide range of foods to dogs and still have good results. Nutro and Eukanuba make a good average dog food, has pretty good ingredients, safe levels of protein, and are not ridiculously expensive. If you have a Sam’s Club, they sell a dog food comparable to Eukanuba for a good price. You could also feed a homemade diet or a raw diet. If you look around, you are able to feed a raw diet for a good price. Homemade diets, can be cheap and can be suited for all dogs.
