Has anyone found a natural dog food that’s approved by the AAFCO and is actually as good as home made?

I know the API says to look for meat as the first ingredient and vitamins C or E as preservatives. Has anyone found a good, natural commercial food that’s actually healthy?
DeeDaw – I agree. Home-made is better. I’m going to check out Wellness, as suggested, though.

Wellness is one of the best all natural brands, and so is solid gold. That is true the first ingredient should be a meat, primarily beef/chicken/lamb etc. Also there should be no fillers in example corn gluten meal, there should be no artifical colors for example blue 2, red 3, yellow 40, anything that has those colors are harmful to dogs. The ingredient panel on the dog food should really only have about 10 ingredients, and the first being a meat. But the two i said are very very good natural dog foods that you can buy at petco, petsmart, or even a feed store. Good luck
