Contrary to popular belief dogs are in fact carnivores not omnivores, they don’t need fruit and veg.
Dogs don’t need fruit and veg. You are also using the wrong knife to chop the veg.
I can’t seem to get away from these “Expert Village” videos when I look up “how to”. They are all awful. I think the presenters need to either consult a real expert before making these monstrosities, or change the name to Average or Mediocre Village. And for god sake finish the process in one video for a change. The only one I have seen that completes the process is the “potato skins” recipe where the really cool guy with the brow piercing ends up making a baked potato instead. LOL!
you do know that you are feeding your dog sweet potato?? that is very toxic for them!

Your name suits you, however It is this name that is everyone else’s burden as it now gives you the power to comment on youtube. Damn.
Vegetables are essential for their diet
Anyone that knows anything about dogs knows that they cannot digest veggies….IF YOU ARE GOING TO FEED RAW…FEED ONLY BONES AND MEAT.
Sorry… I meant pressure cooker… not crock pot.
yeah… these videos are sooo mixed up and incomplete!!! There is actually more to the recipe. It has carrots, zucchini, sweet potato and a whole chicken. Then she covers it all in water and cooks in the crock pot. She leaves the bones in it and everything. I wouldn’t!!! And I would probably add some LOW sodium chicken stock to mine instead of all water. Thats it.
The presenter is well intentioned, but people want to get to the point, and see stuff that they can use right away.
With all the videos in the series, there is not one video that “puts it all together”.
1. quickly explain the benefits of home made dog food
2. Lay out ALL the ingredients and say how you will prep
3. Prep the ingredient (can be edited here)
4. Combine them
5. Show how to store for later
6. Show actual feeding of a dog — make sure he likes it
This is a joke… ORGANIC Carrots for DOGS? Vegetables? They’re canines for god’s sake, not rabbits!
Thank you for your video, and thank you for taking so much time and care to put this information out there.
Please ignore the nay-sayers and continue with your work.
She’s just sharing her tips,, if you dont like it why did you watch it silly head .. — My sister said .
Your video is nothing more than a showcase of your slow speaking voice, slow chopping skills and useless information. THREE minutes is a long time for a YouTube clip, and you need to respect the time of people who genuinely want to know about a healthy dog’s diet. Clearly your agenda is to advertise another website, nothing to do with dog food at all.
NINE months … that is how serious you are about the video you expect other people to view.
As for your question about why I don’t “create the dog food video of your dreams”, I can tell you it is because despite being considerably more knowledgeable than you about dog food, I still do not consider myself qualified to advise others.
Hostility? If that is how you view feedback that I took the time to write…that’s your problem. Frankly, a word of thanks would have been in order since you’ve had 1,610 views yet not one person has bothered to comment because they probably likely switched off at the point of you s-l-o-w-l-y chopping carrots.
You’ve taken NINE months to reply to the one and only person who commented on your site? That would be in keeping with your slow talking, slow chopping video.
I would rate this video as a joke at best, and an insult to a dog owner’s intelligence!
Please have more respect for others.
