I remember hearing about pedigree WET dog food, but I cant remember what it was about. Is pedigree wet dog food ok? Do any of you feed your dog this???

It’s pretty low quality. Not sure if that’s what you mean by “ok”, but I can tell you that I wouldn’t feed it to my dog.
It is ok if you don’t mind feeding your dog McDonalds everyday there is way to much filler in pedgree
I own a rescue and I would never ever feed it to any of my dogs Junk food
Pedigree dog food is crap in general, and i would never consider that kind of food for my dog. If your dogs eat that, it would be the equivalent of them eating junk food
Not the greatest. An oft quoted site is http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com. Under the reviews section.
Same rules apply to wet food as to dry. You want an actual animal as the first ingredient, no by products, no chemical preservatives and preferably human grade food. I prefer Merrick/Old Mother Hubbard and Wellness.
canned dog food is made up of 2/3 of water so from a nutritional point of view it is better to use a balanced dry food. i feed my newfoundland with dried food, mixed with mince and carrots and a cup of water, loves it!
No wet food is ok. The majority of it is pure water. Dry biscuits are the best food for your dog. If you are going to feed Pedigree (I’d really recommend not to, but Im sure the Food Police will be along in a minute anyway), feed it the dry stuff, rather than canned.
I wouldn’t feed it.
But, tbh, I wouldn’t feed any kind of wet dog food unless the dog just cant chew the kibble.
Wet dog food leaves a feeding ground for bacteria and tooth plaque to run amuk.
Wet food is one of the worst choices around for your dog to be consuming. It is horrible on their teeth and can leave them with stinky breath and a dry smelly coat.
To top it all off you suggested PEDIGREE. Don’t do it. Pedigree is a bad brand in itself. Check out this site on the qualities of food. Go by the ratings and ingredients to help find a tasty yet healthy meal for your dogs…
no it is not
Not a good food. Pick a food that has meat as the first ingredient. No byproducts and does not have a lot of filler grains like corn and rice.
Sorry, I accidently answered on my family members account beofore. They forgot to sign out lol.
I have fed my dog the canned Pedigree dog food. She snorted it down fast, but as far as the grade of food, I never looked into it. I stopped buying it after the first few times I fed it to her. She slowly got tired of it.
What you need to look for in wet AND dry food is fillers and by-products. A main filler is corn, which is absolutely not good for your dog. Make sure Pedigree has all natural ingredients and no fillers. You can do some more research on it. From what I hear it is pretty low grade food.
I recommend Canidae foods. I don’t know if they provide wet food, but their quality is far better than Iams, Ol’ Roy, Purina, Eukanuba, Kibbles N’ Bits, Beneful, and all of the other chain brands that use tons of fillers. It has no fillers and all natural products. My adolescent and senior dog are on it and they had a huge improvement from when I was feeding them Purina. They are now much more full of life and very healthy. Here’s the website. Hope this helps, but look for the things I mentioned in the Pedigree brand.
I forgot to mention, I go with All Life Stages.
pedigree makes wet dog food? wet dog food comes in a can, dry comes it a bag. And yes I do give my dog canned (wet) dog food before but mixed with dry (bag) dog food. They love it!
it was rated in the top five and got third that is really good i would feed it to your dog if i were you so just try it
