Why not feed your dog raw? It is very healty and the bones are good for
their teeth. 80% muscle meat, 10% bones, 5% liver, 5% other organs (kidney
or lung). You can suplement their diet with carrots and apple slices.
@Aejay Papa Oats are a common allergen for dogs.
@chart427 It can do the same to humans. Small amounts are good for dogs and
humans. Large amounts are toxic.
I use coconut oil instead of canola (not as cheap though) because of the
that looks more expensive than packed dog food
This is bad for dogs/puppies
Dam that a lot of veggies … What are the oats for?and molasses?
is the mixture puppy safe?
Oats are okayfor dogs as long as they don’t have allergies to them. Just
like humans, each dog is different. Molasses is also okay in small
quantities. These ingredients are in several recipes in a popular dog
bakery chain book that I have . I can’t see how the corn and grain loaded
commerical dog food would be any healthier than this. I see this to be a
great recipe to use for my dog. I can change a few things to fit her needs
and save us tons of money each month! Thank you
I just looked up foods you are never suppose to feed dogs and Garlic is one
of the top.
Do you know how many cups are in this? And how many calories, per serving?

NO GARLIC FOR DOG AND CAT… POISON FOR THEM
I made this and my dog loves it. Thanks!
@starfaery They are facultative carnivores. Meaning a bit of veggie, but
mostly meat. Omnivorous animals, like Bears, still eat meat. They CANNOT
thrive without it. They need BOTH veggues AND meats to thrive.
@FreeCityCoupons – thank you for your comment… makes me confident to try
